With the rapid development of the domestic rice industry, we are working to help actively expand both the domestic and international export industries by branching out into rice cultivation, grain purchasing and storage, production and processing, and domestic sales as we build our fully integrated business.
Procurement of Raw Materials
We have more than 500,000 acres of rice planting area in Jiangxi, Jiangsu, Heilongjiang, Liaoning, and Jilin provinces. We have also been accelerating the scale of contact farming in order to secure higher-quality rice in our short-grain rice producing areas in the 3 northeastern provinces and Jiangsu, and in long-grain rice producing areas in southern China.
Production and Processing
We continue to focus on our strategy of efficiently building our business around key production, marketing, and coastal areas. We are establishing processing plants in areas that are equipped with advanced technology that allow us to carry out intensive and large-scale production. We currently have processing operations that span from the north to the south and a nationwide logistics supply system.
Quality Control
We have 26 key control points throughout our supply chain and maintain strict controls that help us maintain high quality within a safety tracking system. Our plants have all received ISO9000 and HACCP quality and safety accreditation to ensure that China Agri’s rice is healthy, nutritious and safe.
Marketing Service
The Company seeks to maintain its competitive advantages in the existing traditional core market. Meanwhile, we have set up more than 20 sales offices in major cities in China and have established supply relationships with important stores and supermarkets to form a nationwide sales network. This has helped us establish our number one position in terms of market share in the domestic market. Brands like “Fortune”, “Five Lakes”, “Maple” and "Donghai Mingzhu” have gained stable groups of consumers as well as a wide recognition in the market.
