Procurement of Raw Materials
We purchase high-quality barley for the brewing industry from Australia, Canada and Europe in collaboration with some of the world's most renowned professional grain suppliers. We obtain superior barley for beer production by sourcing the best products using our world-class management system and strictest of quality controls. We also sourced high-quality domestically grown barley through an optimized supply chain.
 

Storage and Logistics
Our factories are located in some of the major coastal cities of China, including Dalian, Jiangyin and the barley producing areas in Inner Mongolia. All of our factories have been constructed with special purpose-built railways that allow us to safely, conveniently and quickly ship our high quality products to our customers. 
 

Production and Processing
We introduced some of the world's most advanced malt producing machinery in our brewing materials business. Our leading technology allows us to control the entire production process with computer programs so that we can produce consistently high quality malt. 
 

Quality Control
In accordance with the inspection requirements of European Brewing Convention (EBC) and American Society of Brewing Chemists (ASBC), our brewing materials business is equipped with world class inspection equipment to ensure that we have the highest levels of quality in our production process. Our subsidiary, COFCO Malt (Dalian) Co.,Ltd. and COFCO Malt (Jiangyin) Co.,Ltd. have acquired ISO9001: 2000 and HACCP standard certification.
 

R&D and Innovation
We have established a Technology Center in our brewing materials business and equipped it with advanced equipment and professional personnel that are capable of solving technical problems, improving product quality, meeting customer needs, and conducting technologically innovative research. For example, our Technology Center played a key role in the development of two of our newest products – caramel malt and superior malt, which have received a great response from our customers since they were launched.
